P1062 Recommended Practice for Software Acquisition

The Recommended Practice for Software Acquisition, IEEE P1062TM, describes a set of useful quality considerations that can be selected and applied during one or more steps in a software acquisition process. The IEEE P1062TM Working Group will identify and document current software acquisition processes and provide better guidance on certain relevant topics, such as security in software acquisition.

Project Status

We are currently soliciting members to participate in the project. The Working Group welcomes your support and participation. Inquire at marcus.hervey@qualityapps.com.

Meetings

The first official Working Group Meeting will in mid-July. More detail to follow shortly. Interested parties are invited to attend. IEEE membership is not required. Just inquire at marcus.hervey@qualityapps.com.
