Needs HELP on general needs chapter for surge and sag protection … need some input from 1346 on sag protection.
519,519a … application guide.. document draft reviewed in Denver PES Draft 6 out soon .. New initiative on single phase appliance harmonic emissions limits and formation initiative on 3phase industrial equipment emission limits working group.
PQ Definitions P1433 met in Denver PES …
NEMA drives meeting interaction>> August 1996 … They are beginning to work with a RPM and Torque variation definition of ridethrough during electrical source events. This would allow machine designers to define RPM and Torque requirements during power line events.
Larry Conrad chapter 9 Gold Book… out for Ballot this month and paper presented 10/9/96 at IAS

• Tutorial… Gold book and 1346 tutorial combined??
  Van Wagner and Larry Conrad to investigate
  
• Draft 3.0 was reviewed by IEEE for Format and Ok’ed
  
• Passed out a Critical Decision’s list from previous meetings before discussing draft 4.0.
  
• Sag Environment Compatibility Software should be included with tutorial & standard & website. (sample excel macro and graph generator)

A review of draft 4.0 followed for those present. There will be a draft 4.1 for minor updates but not substantial changes.
