Minutes 1346 New Orleans 10/7/97

It was announced to the group present that the Ballot was
very successful with 90% returned and 88% positive. Two
negative comments and numerous editorial comments were
received showing the through review by the ballot group.
The 6 pages of editorial comments were resolved from which
Draft 4.3 will be constructed.

Because the two negative votes were resolved and no technical
material was changed, the recommended practice can go to the
Standards Board this fall. For information only, the new
Draft 4.3 will be recirculated to the balloting group in
parallel with proceeding with publishing.

Publication is expected to be accomplished by spring ‘98.

Several Articles to appear in Spectrum, EMC,PQ, and other
magazines, journals and papers are being written to be
published along with publication of 1346. Suggestions of
magazines is solicited. Larry Morgan and Van Wagner to execute.

Tutorials are to be scheduled with Larry Conrad and Chapter 9
of the Gold book and both IAS and PES and I&CPS. Van and
Larry Conrad to organize and execute.
