This is a response to your letter asking about patent coverage.

I hold these patents:

US Patent 5,274,707, issued 12-28-93.
Modular Exponentiation and Reduction Device and Method

US Patent 5,297,208, issued 3-22-94.
Secure File Transfer System and Method

US Patent 5,373,560, issued 12/13/94.
Partial Modular Reduction Method

I also have a couple of related applications pending.

These patents relate to cryptographic implementation techniques.
I do not believe that these patents will preclude anyone from
adopting the IEEE P1363 (proposed) standard, but they might
apply to particular implementations.

I have no standard licensing policy for these patents.  I would
be happy to entertain any offers.
