IEEE P1363a: Signatures with message recovery

This document contains possible additions to IEEE 1363a / D2, namely inclusion of a signature scheme with partial message recovery due to Pintsov and Vanstone.

This addition to the third draft specifies techniques of an integrated (i.e. a hybrid of symmetric key and public key techniques) signature scheme with partial message recovery. Parameters of the scheme may be chosen to permit an arbitrary portion of the message to be recovered from the signature. Parameters of the scheme may also be chosen to securely decrease the signature length through exploitation of an agreed redundancy criterion for message acceptance.
