IEEE P1363: Standard for Public-Key Cryptography MEETING NOTICE Thursday, August 27, 1998, 2:00pm-5:00pm Friday, August 28, 1998, 9:00am-5:00pm University of California, Santa Barbara Santa Barbara, California, USA This meeting of the P1363 working group, open to the public, will continue the development of IEEE P1363, a draft standard for public-key cryptography based on discrete logarithm, elliptic curve, and integer factorization systems, and begin the development of IEEE P1363a, a supplement to P1363. According to the current schedule, final changes to the P1363 document will be agreed upon at this meeting, and then the IEEE balloting process for P1363 will begin. An information session will be held on Tuesday afternoon at UCSB, for those interested in a general introduction to P1363. AGENDA Thursday Afternoon: 1. Approval of agenda 2. There will be a meeting fee, which will include an IEEE fee of $10 per half-day and which will also cover meeting expenses (exact amount to be determined).
