[P1363:] Proposal of ESIGN-PSS and PSEC-KEM
Dear IEEE P1363 Lists,
We would like to submit the following paper for the project "IEEE
P1363-2000: Standard Specifications for Public Key Cryptography."
The title is
"Proposal of ESIGN-PSS and PSEC-KEM."
We would like to make a presentation at the workgroup meeting.
Our proposal for EGISN is to modify the choices
of message-encoding methods. In the present draft, at Scheme
Options for IFSSA, we find
"If the signature primitive is IFSP-ESIGN, then the
message-encoding method should be EMSA5 or a technique.."
We propose to replaced it to
"If the signature primitive is IFSP-ESIGN, then the
message-encoding method should be EMSA4 or EMSA5 or a
technique.."
We also propose a key encupslation mechanism PSEC-KEM.
The description will base on the one proposed at ISO.
We are going to submit the document describing the above two
items as soon as possible.
