Clause 22 - PatternFailReport
Updated based on decisions last week and further input from Doug Sprague
Review dot6 related issues - Jose Santiago (topic moved to 4/22)
RK-1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9.

Open Issues

CellGroups - Rohit Kapur, Peter Wohl

- is this neccessary in dot1? - nothing uses or can use this data.
- in separate block? - if needed, why not within scanstructures?
RK-6 - removal of annex F
76, Annex F, , editorial,

Annex F has nothing to do with the scope of 1450.1. The contents also go against CTL's mechanism which is much simpler. This solution does not work for situations where the patterns are not available.,

Propose: Delete this Annex.

3/1/04-TT/GM - This annex is necessary to explain the usage of the statement AllowInterleave.

Editorial issues completed (changes in D19, Apr 1), needs WG and author approval
- Greg Maston (GM-5, 10 issues)
- Jose Santiago (JS-2, 39 issues)
- Don Organ (DO-2, 11 issues)

Meeting discussion

0. IEEE meeting clearances

Nothing under discussion or presentation for this meeting was identified as being proprietary or restricted.

1. Clause 22 - PatternFailReport

  • WG agrees that latest changes to clause 22 are OK. All agreed that this feature is looking pretty complete now. A few minor additional changes were identified as follows -

  • Need to be specific about the Signals/SignalGroups blocks being optional and only needed when defining hex formatting. The signal names should always refer back to the ones in the STIL pattern file.

  • Need to check the "THL" comment in the example. Should it be TTL?

  • The \w in the example should now be \e.

2. Face-to-face at VTS (4/28)

  • Plan to attend all day: Bruce, Greg, Tony, John Cosley

  • Plan to attend part time: Jose Santiago, Dave Dowding, Rohit Kapur
