Working Group Face-to-Face Meetings in the Bay Area 16 and 17 March 2004
Information
Greetings,
I have obtained meeting accommodations for our meeting on
the 16th and 17th of March. We will meet in the Agilent campus in Santa Clara in
Building #54. This is where our training facility and other offices are located.
There will be badges provided for non-Agilent folks to wear. I will need to
escort non-Agilent folks in and out of the building, since this is an facility
where R&D labs are located. I have attached two PDF files showing the
campus, and the layout of Building 54 Lower. I have also attached an aerial
photo of the campus to show its relationship to major streets/freeways adjacent
thereto. For those not familiar with the area, the campus is less than a half an
hour from the San Jose airport, and approximately an hour and a half from San
Francisco International (depending on time of day and traffic).
The conference rooms we have reserved
are: 16 March - Spyglass Conference Room (the 2nd meeting room on the left as
you enter thru Lobby 54), Phone # (408) 553-7407. 17 March - Cypress Point
Conference Room (the 3rd meeting room on the left as you enter
thru Lobby 54), Phone # (408) 553-7408. We are scheduled to have these rooms
from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
These meeting rooms accommodate up to
12 individuals. They have an Agilent Internet connection for Webex sessions that
may be needed with our conference calls. I will arrange at least one "wrap-up"
call daily, and more if we feel it is necessary.
I would like to suggest we have a "no
host" dinner on Tuesday evening in the area. Is there interest, and for the
locals, are there suggestions?
I will need to have a list of the
attendees to the security folks by the first of March.
