- Introduction
- Mark Harris gave greetings to the group and summarized the background of RP1461 and activity to date. Key points include development of a working table of contents, module classification scheme, and a glossary. A focus group subcommittee has been developing this material using conference calls on a (approximately) monthly basis. Mark also announced Dennis Darcy's change in employment and resignation as chair from the committee. Mark indicated Dennis's willingness to continue to participate in the work of the committee.
- Review of agenda
- Mark proposed the agenda for the meeting.
- A question was raised as to whether there is full access to web site minutes. Mark will investigate.
- Review of actions
- Progress has been slow due to changes in position and workload among the active group members.
- Yuri K. mentioned that Mitsubishi has an approach to intelligent module segmentation that we should investigate (no action?). He also mentioned that IEEE has a newly formed standards infrastructure group.
- Thanks were noted to Mark Harris for his work on RP1461
