Discussions

  1. A discussion occurred on the difficulty of integrating 1500 cores. A practical case study was performed at Lucent where they attempted to implement the integration pictures CTAG foils have in the beginning. They found the hard way that the implementations do not work.... During the discussion it was clear that this was out of the scope of the standard and these also were not the recommended way of integrating 1500 cores. It was requested that 1500 provide a recommendation that works over those that do not work.

  2. A discussion on the serial mandatory occurred. It appears that this was a controversial issue in the CTAG team and this was a solution that the team came up with. However, weak the arguments were for-and-against the mandatory serial version that is the current status.

  3. CTL presentation was made. A historical view was presented to answer often asked questions.

  4. Compliancy discussions. No real discussion occurred as a brief presentation was done due to time limitations. The detail rules are being discussed in joint TF meetings.

  5. A request was made by Yervant for patents relevant to 1500 to be brought forward.

  6. A request was made for reviewers for the upcoming plans for review.
