Re: [P1619-3] Meeting to discuss presentations at KMS 2008 (Friday August 22, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 PDT)

Hi -

Unfortunately I'm booked all day tomorrow and won't be able to join the
call. In case this information may be useful as input to the meeting,
here's a quick outline of the content of my 30-minute presentation on
"The RSA Perspective on Encryption Key Management":

- a short context-setting introduction, laying out the RSA view of the
role of capabilities such as encryption within a data security system

- our perspective on enterprise key management as a pervasive
infrastructure supporting a comprehensive ecosystem of security
capabilities

- implications of this perspective for the requirements that enterprise
key management has to address

I expect that a number of us will touch on comparable topics, and hope
that the differences (both large and small) in our perspectives will be
interesting in themselves and provide the impetus for interesting
discussions!

Regards,

Bob

Subject: Meeting to discuss presentations at KMS 2008 (Friday August 22,
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 PDT)

Hi Folks,

As we discussed in yesterday's P1619.3 meeting there will be a special
conference call tomorrow to discuss presentations for the Key Management
Summit (KMS 2008). Please attend if you have any questions about
presentation content, and about avoiding overlap between existing
presentations.

Friday, August 22 from 10:30 to 12:30 PDT.

I'll send out dial-in information before tomorrow.
