[P1619-3] Action Items as of 2009-01-21

Hi folks,

We had a short meeting due to lack of critical mass (largely because of the SNIA events held in parallel).

As a quick reminder, here is a list of the currently outstanding action items:

  1. (Bob Lockhart) - Send out algorithm spreadsheet (lists several algorithms that would be useful to incorporate as a mandatory set)

  2. (Matt Ball) - Create a proposal (within 2 weeks) of incorporating Key Groups into the WSDL and standard. (in response to Optical-21) -- Carry-Over

  3. (Bob Lockhart & Scott Kipp & Thomas Hardjono & Landon C Noll) (9/10/2008): request under RFC 4395 a provisional URI scheme for the km so_family.  Status 11/05/2008: In process. Pretty much we need to cut-and-paste a XML-based request and submit it to the IETF.  Update 11/19/2008: Bob Lockhart has produced a draft, but still needs to fill in some details.

  4. (Lockhart) Publish next draft -- Carryover

  5. (Matt Ball) - Determine differences in Process Only and Expired key states.  Consider addition or Protect & Process to Expired transition -- Open

  6. (Lockhart) - Update the comment spreadsheet based on today's discussion and send out to the group -- In Progress

  7. (Matt) Question from Landon: Does the LoA cover Patent Applications?

  8. (Bob Lockhart) Check into the copyright situation with the URI Scheme submission

  9. (Walt) Update the P1619.3 plan based on feedback and publish

  10. (Matt) Follow-up on adding an IEEE OID registry

  11. (Various) Finish action items listed in spreadsheet
