Re: [P1619-3] P1619.3 Weekly Meeting Reminder Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Walt,

Is there a presentation on KMIP or are we just going to chat for a while
on KMIP? I don't see any documents posted.

If we don't have any agenda items that contribute towards the draft,
then why don't we cancel the meeting. Weekly meetings don't seem
appropriate for the level of interest that we are seeing right now. If
we aren't working on content that gets included into the draft, then
we're not having useful meetings.

The attendance to these meetings has dropped considerably to 5 or 6
participants over the last few meetings - or none when the meetings get
canceled.

Why don't we reconvene when we have the KMIP to 1619.3 mapping complete?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott,

When there are specific items brought to my attention, I will add those
to the agenda. This week, for example, we have discussion of the KMIP.
Also, there will always be the usual items that we need to go through
and these will not change from week to week.

Old business items are contained in the previous meeting's minutes.

New business items are issues that are brought up at the meeting. If
they are presented before the meeting, they become agenda items.

As always, I ask members of this project to please let me know of any
agenda items to be included so that I can add them to the agenda in
advance.

Walt,

This boiler plate agenda is of no use to the group. We get the same one
every week. I talked to some people last week and they had similar
feelings.

Can you provide us some useful agenda items under old or new business?

I bet that many people don't attend because they don't see anything of
interest in this agenda.

Thanks,
Scott
