Re: [P1619-3] P1619.3 Weekly Meeting Reminder Wednesday, April 29, 2009

I have several proposals on policy and objects that was put off from the Plenary.  I would like to ensure everyone has a chance to see it first before I present it.  As for the mapping I will be presenting it this week or next in OASIS depending on my (and 1 hour conference call) time constraints.

Once it is done there I should be able to give it to P1619.3 the following week.  The work will be posted as copyrighted material and OASIS should not have an issue as it will be publicly posted.

I will send the requests out for both after tomorrows call to the reflector to be added to the agenda for next week and the following week as needed.

Today I would like to add that we officially recommend a liason on our side for KMIP.

Hi Walt,

It would be better if we could see what the working proposals/old business items are so we know what is going to be discussed.

I'd be interested in knowing when/where Bob L. is going to start going over thoughts on how we might resolve the .3 Key blob with the proposed draft KMIP key block?

My 2 cents,
Larry H

Scott,

When there are specific items brought to my attention, I will add those to the agenda. This week, for example, we have discussion of the KMIP. Also, there will always be the usual items that we need to go through and these will not change from week to week.

Old business items are contained in the previous meeting's minutes.

New business items are issues that are brought up at the meeting. If they are presented before the meeting, they become agenda items.

As always, I ask members of this project to please let me know of any agenda items to be included so that I can add them to the agenda in advance.

-Walt

Walt,

This boiler plate agenda is of no use to the group. We get the same one every week. I talked to some people last week and they had similar feelings.

Can you provide us some useful agenda items under old or new business?

I bet that many people don't attend because they don't see anything of interest in this agenda.

Thanks,
Scott
