Re: [P1619-3] OASIS KMIP Links

Matt,

Thanks for coordinating this.

Can Bob post the comparison document to 1619.3?  Then 1619.3 can approve this document (with any changes) and we can submit the next draft to OASIS KMIP.  1619.3 should be able to modify 1619.3 documents as we see fit regardless of OASIS membership.

I hope this is correct,
Scott

Subject: Re: [P1619-3] OASIS KMIP Links

Hi Folks,

The OASIS KMIP technical committee has requested feedback on the P1619.3 comparison that Bob Lockhart produced (see links below).

If we have time in tomorrow's meeting, I'm hoping that we can incorporate some of this feedback into the spreadsheet.  As the P1619.3 liaison into KMIP, I can present this feedback to KMIP.

However, if you contribute feedback to this document, you need to either:
  1. be a member of OASIS KMIP already, or
  2. agree to and sign the OASIS Feedback License (see http://www.oasis-open.org/who/intellectualproperty.php#appendixa)
OASIS KMIP operates under the "RF on RAND Terms" (see 10.2.2 of the OASIS IP rules: http://www.oasis-open.org/who/intellectualproperty.php#licensing_req), so you have to agree to these terms before presenting information to the OASIS KMIP TC.

Thanks!
-Matt
