[P1619-3] Call for volunteers to create an XML schema from the KMIP Binary encoding
Hi Everyone,
In today's SISWG meeting we approved the adoption of the KMIP binary
encoding (and the associated objects and operations) as a new baseline
for P1619.3. The next step is to create P1619.3 extensions that will
make it suitable in an enterprise storage encryption environment. As
part of this, I'm hoping we can re-introduce an XML schema back into
P1619.3 that is a mechanical translation of the binary KMIP encoding.
This XML schema will provide the basis for some of the enterprise
extensions that P1619.3 will support.
I'm hoping to volunteer some time to this effort, but I know that at
least two companies have already created such an XML schema, so it would
save a bunch of time if you could 'donate' such a schema to the group...
Can I get volunteers to help with the effort to create a new P1619.3 XML
schema?
Thanks!
-Matt
