Re: [P1619-3] P1619.3 November 11 Meeting CANCELLED

James,

Please accept my apologies. I had unavoidable commitments today and rescheduling the conference calls and Webex was not possible. Further, there were no reviews that were posted to this reflector indicating that reviews were completed and ready for presentation.

I am not suggesting that we use the plenary for the P1619.3 meeting. I am proposing that we set the time and date of the next P1619.3 meeting during the SISWG plenary on November 18. However, we can also reschedule the meeting using the reflector if that is preferred.

Regards,
Walt Hubis

We still had outstanding action items related to reviewing the various parts of Draft 6 in relation to KMIP.

I came up with a proposal and we have had little discussion on it.

We are making next to no progress. From a 1619.3 perspective the plenary is pointless.

Since we have a SISWG plenary next week and no new reviews of the specification have been posted, there is no reason to have the meeting this week. We can update our status and set the next P1619.3 meeting at the plenary meeting next week.

Also, the KMIP TC has approved the following package of Committee Draft documents for public review:

KMIP Specification
KMIP Profiles
KMIP Use Cases
KMIP Usage Guide

OASIS is now in the process of setting up the public review; the final versions of these documents are in the KMIP documents folder, identified by "cd" (for committee draft) in the title.

Thanks
Walt Hubis
