Tim Bray, one of the co-inventors of XML and the Director of
Web Systems Technologies at Sun, is going to dial in to the P1619 face-to-face
meeting next week and walk us through a talk that he gave at the December 2007
IETF meeting. This talk discusses when it’s appropriate to use XML and
when it’s not, and is particularly relevant to some of the work currently
being done in P1619.3. His presentation is available here: http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/07dec/slides/xmltut-0.pdf |
