[STDS-P1619] IEEE RAC has posted tutorial on OID allocation within IEEE standards
Hi Folks,
The IEEE Registration Authority Committee (RAC) has posted their
tutorial on allocating OIDs (Object Identifiers) within the scope of
IEEE standards efforts at
http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/Allocation_of_Object_Identifier_values_in_IEEE_standards-09.pdf
You can find this tutorial and similar tutorials at
http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/tutorials.html
This newly posted tutorial is consistent with the current SISWG OID
registry, which is at
http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1619/SISWG_OID_registry.txt
Let me know if you have any questions!
Cheers,
-Matt
