[STDS-P1619] Vanish: self-destructing data

I hope this doesn't qualify as unwanted spam, but I've been asked about this stuff (the encryption technology called "Vanish" that's being called a way to make your data self destruct) so many times in the past few days that I decided to do a blog post that I can now refer people to.

Much like the recent press releases that talked about the promise of using homomorphic encryption for cloud computing, it seems that there's also lots of inaccurate information going around about this technology.
