Re: [STDS-P1619] Operating Procedures discussion
Matt,
2 out of 4 sounds good to me also. Plenaries (called work group meetings in the procedures I believe) are the only meetings that count for attendance, as I understand it.
I think someone asked about the possibility of documenting the process if someone is scheduling a vacation/outage? I don't want to rathole on this, but it had come up.

Matt,
I just read the draft and it is good that the relevant text is highlighted.
I would like to see the voting membership requirement of attending 2 of the last 3 meetings changed to 2 out of 4 meetings. This is just for plenary meetings right?
Thanks,
Scott

Subject: [STDS-P1619] Operating Procedures discussion
Hi Folks,
Eric and I are hoping that we can get the newly proposed Operating Procedures finished up in the upcoming plenary meeting.
You can see the proposal here:

(posted July 1, 2009)
If there is anything about this proposal that you'd like to change, please comment on the reflector.
From the last meeting, it seemed the biggest sticking point was that voting membership required attending 2 of the last 3 meetings. Some people were suggesting that we should change this to something like "2 of 4", or even "2 of 5". Thoughts?
Are there any other sticking points? I'm hoping we can hammer these out on the e-mail reflector before the meeting, so that we can successfully vote in the updated Operating Procedures.
Thanks!
