For the next IEEE P1619 SISWG meeting, we've decided to try a new IEEE
attendance tool. The motivation is to automate attendance collection.
This will take a little more work up front, but should make things
easier in the long run.
If possible, please complete these actions before the next meeting on
September 9th so that we can mark you as attending.
Here are the instructions I've received on how to get setup:
STEP 1. Do you have an IEEE Web Account
(IEEE Database)?
–NO :
•GO CREATE A WEB
ACCOUNT -
www.ieee.org - Set up IEEE Web Account
•FOLLOW THE
INSTRUCTIONS
TO CREATE NEW WEB ACCOUNT
–YES:
•I have an IEEE Web
Account and remember your username and password. GO TO STEP 2
•I have an IEEE Web
Account but don’t remember the password. RESET YOUR PASSWORD www.ieee.org Set up IEEE Web Account
•IMPORTANT!
Your IEEE Web Account holds your contact information. Make sure this
is up to date by logging into your Web Account and review/update your
contact
information.

–Expand INFORMATION
ASSURANCE
–Check the box for
the
working group (GREEN) that you are interested in
(e.g., Security in Storage Working Group, P1619.2, P1619.3)
–Click CONTINUE
–Claim affiliation
–YES: You are ready
to use the Meeting Attendance Tool. Follow the instructions provided at
the meeting to log into the Attendance Tool
