Re: [STDS-P1619] Please Create an IEEE Web Account for attendance collection at next IEEE P1619 SISWG meeting

Hi Folks,

We're a little more than a week out from our next meeting, and so far we're missing several SISWG members from the IEEE database.  If you're name is in this list, please follow the directions at the end of this message and add yourself to the IA/SISWG group (and optionally add yourself to P1619.2, P1619.3, etc).  We are taking attendance through the IA/SISWG group within the MyProject system, and need you to add your name to this system to have your attendance counted.

SISWG Voting members who need to register with IEEE/SA:

Non-voting members who have attended at least one meeting in the last year:

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks!

Hi Folks,

For the next IEEE P1619 SISWG meeting, we've decided to try a new IEEE attendance tool.  The motivation is to automate attendance collection.  This will take a little more work up front, but should make things easier in the long run.

If possible, please complete these actions before the next meeting on September 9th so that we can mark you as attending.

Here are the instructions I've received on how to get setup:

STEP 1. Do you have an IEEE Web Account (IEEE Database)?
NO :
GO CREATE A WEB ACCOUNT -  www.ieee.org - Set up IEEE Web Account
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO CREATE NEW WEB ACCOUNT
YES:

I AM NOT SURE:
I don’t remember if I have a Web Account. contact c.sahr@xxxxxxxx

STEP 2. Have you visited myProject (Standards Association Database)?
NO:
Log onto myProject https://development.standards.ieee.org/my-site
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Click Manage Activity Profile
Expand IEEE COMPUTER SOCIETY
Expand INFORMATION ASSURANCE
Check the box for the working group (GREEN) that you are interested in (e.g., Security in Storage Working Group, P1619.2, P1619.3)
