Membership Notes: Walt Hubis and Subhash Sankuratripati lost voting rights; Luther Martin will lose voting rights if he fails to attend the next meeting.
Summary of Meeting:
Meeting was called to order at 10:05am Pacific.
Hitachi Data Systems provided the teleconference and WebEx facilities.
As the Editor of the 1619r project, Eric lead the discussion on the final set of change to the 1619r draft; Erik explained the proposed changes, which were associated to the XEX materials. There were no changes to the normative sections; the Bibliography and the informative Annex D were updated with minor changes.
Eric has an action to produce the final text along with a markup text (delta between original 1619 standard and the D23 draft) and to provide both in the form of a PDF to Matt. Matt will upload the two document so that SISWG members can retrieve them.
Motion: Authorize a 30-day SISWG letter ballot, which will be initiated no later than 10/7/2013, to approve the IEEE 1619 Revised draft standard (D23). Moved by: Matt Ball. Seconded by: Landon Noll. Passed by acclamation.
The next SISWG meeting was scheduled for 11/15/2013 at 1:30pm Pacific. The primary purpose of this meeting will be to process any comments received and to prepare for the Sponsor ballot.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:55am Pacific.
