[IEEE_ISSAA] Last Meeting Minutes (23May2007) and Reminder of Next Meeting (27Jun2007)

The next meeting will be held on June 27th, and the announcement may be

requested to
review it prior to the meeting.
Below are the proposed minutes for the May 23, 2007 meeting, held at
JHU APL, Laurel, Maryland.

Minutes of the ISSAA WG for April 18, 2007

Meeting was called to order at 9:30am by Jack Cole, participants were
introduced, attendance taken, and Jack and Stu Katzke shared note
taking.
Those in attendance:

The agenda was approved as were minutes of previous meeting. The IEEE
Patent Policy was reviewed.
Old business -
Work on the draft normative and information sections was reviewed.
Steps in the overall process pursued were reviewed and are repeated
here:
informative material segregated
edit of information and normative sections
fit to IEEE style (may hire an IEEE editor after identifying funds)
work on definitions and abbreviations
complete offline and in next four meetings
Scott, Candice, and Sean will work on developing the
definitions/abbreviations by identifying them and using NIST material
as appropriate. Scott wil take the lead.
Sean will develop a couple of diagrams which he believes will be
helpful in describing the control selection process.
Jack will provide a definition of 'critical infrastructure protection'.
The next version of teh draft standard will be posted on the ISSAA web
page June 13, two weeks in advance of the June 27 meeting.
Dates already posted for meetings after June may change, and that will
be announced.
New business - None
Next meeting will be held June 27, 2007 at JHU APL, Laurel, MD. Dates
for future meetings through September are indicated at
http://issaa.org/meetings/.
