Minutes of the ISSAA WG for June 27, 2007
Jack Cole called the meeting to order at 9:30am. Participants were
introduced, attendance taken, and Jack took notes.

The agenda was approved, as were minutes of previous meeting. The IEEE
Patent Policy was reviewed.
Old business –
Work on the draft normative and information sections was reviewed.
Work needed on definitions and abbreviations and on flow diagrams
created by Scott were discussed.
It was decided that multiple flow diagrams would be needed, each one
depicting an ISSAA component and its inputs and outputs along with the
components normally preceding and following the subject component.
Terms and concepts were discussed for the master control catalogue
(MCC), communities of interest (COI, relating to critical
infrastructure segments), and security assurance requirements. A long
MCC discussion was held with the suggestion that a separate MCC
standard might be useful.
Scott will provide suggested MCC text to Stu, and after a couple of
weeks Stu will give the draft to Jack so that it may be fitted to the
IEEE style. Work will proceed in parallel on abbreviations and
definitions as well as on development of the informative annex and the
informative flow diagrams.
