  1. Flicker Technical Report 1 February 15, 2010 : This draft document, "Biological Effect and Health Hazards from Flicker, Including Flicker That Is Too Rapid To See," is intended to be a background/scientific survey that begins to discuss biological effects of flicker and how flicker may occur in LED lighting. It is open for public comment through web forms (hosted by Northeastern University).
  2. Our recommended practice report is undergoing approval process within IEEE (as of March 2015). The report includes some published results that may be of interest to the public:
    • Lehman, Brad, and A. Wilkins. "Designing to Mitigate Effects of Flicker in LED Lighting: Reducing risks to health and safety." Power Electronics Magazine, IEEE 1, no. 3 (2014): 18-26. (see references in this paper also!)
