I will call the hotel to find out what is the issue. Being 8pm here it may be solved tomorrow morning (my time).

I also want to change the checking in date as I suppose that most people will be arriving on the 24^th.

I just called the number you gave and spoke to Ms. Eli and she told me there is no room available. I mentioned the name “IEEE Meeting” and that didn’t ring a bell either.
