Subject: Receive $100 from the IEEE-SA For Your Feedback!
Do you participate in standards development or use standards? If so,we
invite you to earn $100 by taking part in one of the IEEE Standards
Association's (IEEE-SA's) online, four-day discussion groups. This group
will enable you to share your thoughts and engage in discussion with other
professionals about how current standards processes support your needs,
your experiences in standards development, and how you and your
organization use standards. If you are selected and participate, we will
pay you USD $100 at the completion of the session.
The currently planned date is:
* Wednesday through Saturday, October 24-27, 2007
We hope that you will join us for what we anticipate will be an interesting
and informative discussion with people all over the world about important
trends in standards development.
An online bulletin board focus group is a guided dialogue that will include
up to 25 other professionals like yourself. It is very easy to participate.
The group is conducted online and no special equipment or software is
needed. In essence, the bulletin board focus group is a threaded
discussion, similar to an online bulletin board, but with a leader posing
questions. You log on via the Internet at your convenience-there is no
specific time of the day-to read posts and exchange ideas. We anticipate
that your daily time commitment would be about 45 minutes for each of the
four days-although you may wish to spend longer reading posts and
exchanging ideas and comments with the other participants.
During the group, you will be assigned a "handle" and your full name or
identity will not be used. We assure you complete confidentiality.
