Join P2302 Working Group


Get an IEEE Web Account

You do not need to be an IEEE or IEEE-SA member to participate in this working group. However, you need an IEEE Web Account to access the tools used by the working group. If you are an IEEE or IEEE-SA member you already have an IEEE Web Account. If you do not have an IEEE Web Account, follow the instructions below to create one:

  1. Go to the IEEE Web Account request page
  2. Click the Create an IEEE Web Account link
  3. Click the Create an IEEE Account button and follow the instrutions. Write down your username and password.

Login to myProject the First Time

Working Groups use myProject to conduct activities required by the IEEE Standards Association. IEEE-SA members also use this tool to vote and comment in Sponsor ballots. The following one-time activity will occur the first time you login to myProject:

  1. Go to the myProject home page
  2. Login with your IEEE Web Account
  3. The Affiliation page will be displayed. This is required and only asked the first time you login to myProject. See Affiliations FAQ for guidance.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts and complete the form.

Join the P2302 Working Group

  1. Login to myProject with your IEEE Web Account.
  2. Click the Manage Activity Profile link
  3. On the Manage Activity Profile page, scroll down and click the "+" sign next to IEEE Computer Society.
  4. When the screen refreshes, click the "+" sign next to Cloud Computing Standards Committee
  5. When the screen refreshes, check the box next to Intercloud WG (ICWG)
  6. Click Continue
  7. On the next screen, select your Affiliation for this working group then click Continue
  8. The working group chair will then need to authorize you as a member of the working group before you can view private documents
