Home of the IEEE Bronze Book - IEEE STD 739.  The IEEE Bronze Book is of great value to power-oriented engineers and designers associated with industrial and commercial facilities.  The standard addresses energy conservation and cost-effective planning in the areas of engineering design, applications, utilization, and the operation and maintenance of electric power systems to provide for the optimal use of electrical energy.


 

 Topics

The Bronze Book is one of twelve IEEE Color Books specifically developed for practitioners tasked in identifying approved practices to industrial and commercial power systems problems. Developed under the auspices of the IEEE Standards Association, the IEEE Industry Applications Society, and the IEEE Energy Systems Committee, the Bronze Book provides state-of-art guidance on energy conservation as applied to industrial power systems.
