Marius asked me to forward his question,
as he seems to be dripped from the list.
(I've made a request for him to get back on)

Hi,
Does anyone know the answer to these questions -
The old IEEE Standard 754-1985 used to be referred to sometimes
as ANSI/IEEE 754-2008. It was also adopted as IEC 559.
Do ANSI and IEC still recognize the old standard as valid?
If so, do they plan to move to the new one?
What about ISO?
Thanks,
Marius Cornea
PS: please use 'reply all' - apparently I am not on the

Roger,
We are still going through the process on the international
stuff.
And I thought I got out of hell when it was published. :-)
Take care,
Dan
