IEEE P802.3bd MAC Control Frame for Priority-based Flow Control Project

At its November 2008 plenary meeting, the IEEE 802.3 Working Group voted to allow the IEEE 802.1 Data Centre Bridging Task Group to develop an amendment to IEEE Std 802.3 to add a MAC Control Frame to support IEEE 802.1Qbb Priority-based Flow Control. The designation allocated to this project is IEEE P802.3bd. As is usual for a cross Working Group PAR, IEEE 802.3 voters who request it will be added to the Working Group ballot group for this project.
