March 2001

At the January meeting, TGf adopted document 01/102r2 as the initial draft for 802.11F. TGf passed a motion to conduct a working group letter ballot, and on approval, to forward the 802.11F draft D1 to sponsor ballot.. At the May meeting, TGf will process comments arising from the letter ballot, and consider how to extend 802.11F to provide support for 802.11E as a second phase of work.

January 2001

At the January meeting, TGf reviewed the progress and input from the Ad Hoc meeting in December. The group spent most of the time in text drafting. Significant text was generated, but the result is not at draft status yet. They expect to have first draft in March. TGf is soliciting comments and input for consideration in March.
