wpan/ Fwd: WLAN/MAILING/ Agenda for September meeting and second July mailing

All

I am forwarding Vic's tentative agenda for Santa Rosa for your review. He
has highlighted our SG on coexistence. Dot 11 is an important part of that
activity.

>Hello Colleagues,

>I have uploaded the agenda for the September meeting (PDF attached).
>
>Please be aware that we have two important items:
>1. dot 11 Study-Group for Enhanced 802.11
>2. dot 15 Study-Group for co-existence in the 2.45 GHz band
>
> Regarding the dot 15 SG, please download the following file:

>nce_Study_Group.ppt
>
>At the July ExCom, I voted against that studygroup based on the fact that
>the dot 15 calls for co-existence by itself. It would be nice if 802.11
>members could follow this item for the group.
>
>On Wednesday we have a joint meeting with 802.15.
>
>Please note that the deadline for the hotel reservations is July 18, 1999!
>
>Thanks.
