[802.15_GENERAL] Thank-you and Happy Holidays

Dear 802.15 Members and Interested Parties
As the year comes to a close, I want to take a minute a say thank-you and
Happy Holidays to you and your families. This year marked the 50th
Session of 802.15 which was held fittingly in the 50th United
State. This year also saw the completion of 15.4a and the beginning
of some exciting new projects in Body Area Networking and amendments to
15.4 for MAC enhancements and to extend the reach into China at 780MHz
and Japan at 950MHz. 15.4 continues as the third most popular Standard in
the IEEE Get802 program which is something to be very proud of.
All of this happens because of all your hard work and contributions so
again Thank-You. Take some well earned rest (after you finish reviewing
and balloting on the 15.5 draft of course ;>) ) and enjoy your
families and the season. See many of you in Taipei in January.
Warmest Regards
Bob
