[802.15_GENERAL] Call for Officers: Technical Editor

The IEEE 802.15 Task Group 4d is issuing a "Call for Officers". Task
Group 4d (TG4d) was created by the IEEE SA's approval of a PAR to create
an amendment to IEEE 802.15.4-2006.
The IEEE 802.15 Task Group 4d is chartered to define an amendment to the
existing standard 802.15.4-2006. The proposed amendment shall be limited
to defining a new PHY and such changes to the MAC as are necessary to
support a new frequency allocation (950MHz -956MHz) in Japan. The
amendment shall completely follow the new technical conditions described
in Japanese ministerial ordinance. The amendment shall coexist with
passive tag systems in the band.

Individuals who wish to be considered for this role should respond with
their intent by March 16th 2008 to Phil Beecher,
(pbeecher@integration.com) TG4d chair, with a copy to Bob Heile
(bheile@ieee.org), WG chair. A vote to determine officers will be held
at the IEEE 802.15 Plenary Meeting in Orlando, Florida 16-21 March 2008.
