Welcome to the Resilient Packet Ring Study Group.
Our website is http://www.ieee802.org/rprsg.
The problem space of the RPRSG includes optimized
packet transfer on LAN/MAN/WAN rings, discussion
of layering and elimination of equipment to
improve the economy of deployment, bandwidth
multiplication, fast protection and restoration,
efficient multicast, fairness, media independance.
The activities will include investigation of a new
MAC protocol.
