Re: [10GBT] IEEE 802.3 Meeting Announcement for May Interim Meeting - NOW AVAILABLE

Title: Message
Thanks Kevin!  One reminder, Long Beach has a free wireless downtown.  The hotel doesn't have an airport shuttle, but the Super Shuttle from LAX is $16 and from John Wayne (Orange County) is $35.  From the Long Beach airport, they recommend a taxi and to ask for the flat rate of $17.

Cheers,
Brad

For those of you not familiar with Long Beach:
Long Beach has an airport (LGB) with limited service by America West, Alaska Airlines, Jet Blue, American.  If you can find a flight to LGB from your city, that's the best way to get there.  You can avoid most of our infamous freeway traffic.

If you can't fly direct, Long Beach is equidistance from Los Angeles International (LAX) and Orange County (SNA) airports (about 25 miles from each) .  It usually takes 30 minutes longer to get in and out of LAX than SNA, due to traffic and the size of LAX, so Orange County is usually a better option.  The only downside is that Orange County airport has a curfew at 11PM, so if your flight is delayed past 11PM, you'll get diverted (probably to LAX).

Downtown Long Beach is fairly pedestrian friendly.   You won't need a car to get to bars and restaurants.
