It sounds like Dec 17 is the deadline for _all_ contributions to the Jan
22 meeting ? Is this correct? If so, I'd note that some presentations
are expected (ie. the "Action items" from the last meeting: dual rate
receiver, diagnostics, synchronization, jitter etc.) which need to be
addressed by the Task Force rather than the editor.
For these presentations the 5-week-early deadline seems neither needed
nor desirable. Perhaps we could be to follow the precedent set at the
last meeting for FEC code selection: allow baseline proposals - which
upon acceptance would then necessitate a comment against the draft in
the next cycle.
