Dear All, Please find attached files effenberger_4 (the text) and
effenberger_5 (the state machines). This implements the changes that the group requested,
specifically changing the interface between the Synchronizer and the FEC
decoder to be codeword-based. You will find that there is a 2040 bit
buffer that is passed. This also captures the ¡®kickout¡¯ function.
