Dear fellow Task Force Members, You may have noticed that comment 1758 had blank Comment and Suggested Remedy fields in the initial Comments Received file that was distributed. This was due to a tool import error. The problem had to do with a tilde character "~" in the Comment field which caused the import tool to become confused as that character is considered a field delimiter. The corrected Comment and Suggested Remedy fields are included in the Proposed Response file that Glen distributed late last week. My apologies to Ryan, for not catching this before distribution of the Comments Received file. Congratulations to Lior for catching this difference between the two files and bringing this to our attention. This illustrates at least 2 of the reasons we distribute these files; 1) You should always check the Comments Received file to ensure your comments have been properly received (as Ryan did in this case). 2) Always review the Proposed Response file to ensure you agree with the Editors opinion in resolving the comment.
