Subject: Re: [10GMMF] IEEE P802.3aq/D2.0 Working Group Ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The IEEE 802.3 Working Group Ballot on IEEE P802.3aq/D2.0 closed
with the following results:

Eligible Voters	206
Approve 71
Disapprove 24
Abstain 8
Returns 103

Return Rate 50.00%
Approve Rate	74.74%
Abstain Rate 7.77%

The draft has therefore met the requirements for return rate,
and abstention rate. However, since the approval rate is less
than 75% the draft has not been approved.

Over 400 comments were received and Nick Weiner, our editor, is
compiling the comment report which will be uploaded to the
IEEE 802.3aq webpage as soon as it is generated. We will send a
message to the reflector to announce its availability.

The IEEE P802.3aq Task Force will be meeting to perform comment
resolution
at the Crowne Plaza Austin Hotel & Executive Meeting Center, 500 North
IH 35,
Austin, TX, 78701, USA on Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th and the morning
of
Thursday 19th of May 2005.

The full IEEE 802.3 interim meeting information for the meeting can be
