10GBASE-R Jitter Pattern Generator - initial value


I just wanted to point out that for figure 49-9 of clause 49.2.8 (Jitter
pattern generator) it is mentioned that "There is no requirement on the
initial value for the PRBS generator". However, if all zeroes is used as
the initial value, the PRBS will remain in a state where it doesn't
change. Thus, I would think that the initial value shouldn't be allowed
to be all zeroes. Any thought?
