Bob,

The "sliding" of the packet in order to accomplish /S/
alignment with lane 0 isn't described very thoroughly.
The extent of the description seems to be 1 sentence:
46.2.5.1, page 110, lines 5-7. Steve Haddock's presentation
was quite a bit more extensive. This single sentence
doesn't seem to stress the fact that IPG bytes can't
be lost but merely moved from before to after the
packet or vice-versa. I would recommend some stronger
wording, perhaps more in line with Steve's presentation.

Also, on line 4 on page 110, the inter-frame begins with
the /T/, not the byte following (doesn't it?).
