Your assumption is not in line with that agreed upon by the P802.3ae
Task Force by motion. Please see taborek_2_1100.pdf slide 23: "Link
Status & Packet Transmission Is Mutually Exclusive". Shimon Muller was
very adamant about including this point and will insure that it is
enforced.
