RE: when align_status is NOT OK, but any_sync_status=OK

Steven,

When Draft 2.1 comes out, there won't be any references to synchronization
in the PCS Receive state diagram. They will be replaced with references to
alignment. When align_status is NOT OK, Local Fault will be signaled
continuously to the upper layer.

Subject: when align_status is NOT OK, but any_sync_status=OK

Hi :

In Draft 2.0, page 274 the PCS RX state machine, when
any_sync_status=fail,
it goes into Local fault state and sending out //P// PULSE;
How about when align_status is NOT OK, but any_sync_status=OK, what do
we do?
do we send misaligned data continuously or IDLE or //P// to the upper
layer?
