Ballot and comment information...


First, my apologies to those that get this twice, but I wanted to distribute
to all 802.3 voters and the P802.3ae Task Force in one email.

Second, we received just under 1000 comments, but we did have some
duplicates due to some resubmissions by commenters.  The comments can be
found at the following URL:

Last, the results of the ballot:
Out of a possible 306 voters, we received 163 approves, 17 disapproves, 44
abstains, and 13 defunct voters (bad email addresses).  This results in a
return rate of 76.45% (>50% = PASS), an approval rate of 90.56% (>75% =
PASS), and an abstain rate of 19.64% (<30% = PASS).

The ballot for IEEE Draft P802.3ae/D3.0 passes!!
