RE: [802.3ae] some questions about mdio




The MDIO/MDC operate very similar to an I2C interface.  The MDIO carries the
data in a serial stream.  Within the data on the serial stream, there are
two bits used to indicate reads and writes.  This information can be found
in Clause 22 of 802.3-2000 and in Clause 45 of P802.3ae.
