[STDS-802-3-25G] IEEE 802.3by 25 Gb/s Ethernet reminders



Thank you to everyone who has already sent me a presentation request for January’s interim meeting.  

With many people taking time off around now, I wanted just to remind everyone of the contribution request and submittal dates as mentioned below for the 25Gb/s Ethernet Task Force meeting.

Presentation request deadline:  Friday Jan 2nd, 2015 
Presentation submission deadline:  Tues Jan 6th, 2015

The meeting announcement for the January interim is below and I want to draw everyone’s attention to the early date for presentation requests (Fri January 2nd) and the submission deadline (Tues January 6th) due to the early meeting date this year.

The 25 Gb/s Ethernet over single-lane Task Force (pending approval @ Stds Board) meeting will be held during the  January 2015 Interim Meeting in Atlanta.

The 25GE Task Force will be meeting from Monday morning to mid-day Wednesday (Jan 12-14th, 2015).  


Anyone wishing to present, please note the Procedure for Presenters web page:http://www.ieee802.org/3/25GSG/public/presentproc.html (Please not the filename recommendations)


For the January Interim meeting, requests for presentation time shall be made to me at mnowell@xxxxxxxxx  and must be made by Friday, Jan 2nd, 2015.  The presenter shall e-mail a PDF, soft-copy  by Tuesday of the following week  (Jan 6th, 2014).  Given these dates may be tight being right after New Years, please consider making any requests ahead of time and not missing the deadlines.
